MV Colona VI Itineraries & Prices

The Colona VI is doing 2-day / 2-night trips to Hin Daeng, 4-day / 4-night trips to the Similan Islands, Ko Bon, Tachai and Richelieu Rock, or you can combine these trips for a total of 6-days/ 6-nights to all of these great destinations. Itineraries are for general information and are approximate only.

Colona now has departures every Friday to Hin Daeng, returning Sunday evening, with immediate turn around departing for Similan that night. This makes combination trips much more practical for the busy traveling diver.

During the summer months of 2008 (July and August), she will be doing four day and four night trip to the Similan Islands and Koh Bon.

Price includes hotel transfer, accommodation on board, all meals, drinking water, coffee, tea, divemaster services, tanks, weights, and belts. Price does not include personal diving equipment, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, or national park fees. National park fees are 200 Baht per person entry, plus 200 Baht per day.

Credit cards are accepted on the boat, although cash is appreciated for drinks, tips, and other fees. The boat accepts US dollars, Thai baht, English pounds, or Euros. Your bill is tallied up at the end of the trip and the cruise director will tell you the amount. Nitrox is charged at $6.00 US per fill, and that can be paid for at the end of the trip.

Nitrox fills cost $6 US. Proof of Enriched Air certification is required. Courses are available on board for $180 US. Advanced Open Water courses are $180 US. All courses include the required manuals and course materials. Please let us know in advance approximately how many dives you will do with Nitrox so we can ensure we have enough tanks.

We also recommend that you have DAN or other diving accident insurance up to date and current in case of an unanticipated evacuation or other treatment that may not be covered by your regular insurance.
